The aspiration of this project is to create an exhilarating retirement home, perfect for visiting grandchildren, and just within earshot of chanting fans cheering at nearby Clemson University. The house will be nestled into the wooded hillside and only 100' from a pristine lake. This couple wants their retirement home to truly be a treat for all who visit, and have planned every detail: from a slide going to the lower level hangout space, to a more adult hideaway lined with brick, dark wood shelves and roaring fire, affectionately named "Whiskeyville". A screened porch extends outdoor living, and views throughout the house let in the purple and orange sunset and shimmering colors of the lake located just down the slope.
