process: DUNE BUGGY

This existing cottage sits on the edge of a dune, giving it a perch just a dozen meters away from the water's edge. The home, originally built by the Clients' grandparents in the 1940s, is being enlarged to accommodate their growing number of grandchildren. A new master suite will be added along with an expansive kitchen that opens up onto a deck, overlooking the lake. This growing family will be able to have morning coffee in cozy nooks with filtered light coming through the trees and expansive dinners that spill outside during magical Michigan sunsets.
